Our Ingredients

Raisin Paste

Raisin Paste is produced from good quality Thompson Seedless Raisins, meeting all USDA Grades and Standards. Raisins are ground into paste though a 5/64” plate, which results in standard “fine” grind paste. The product is then heated to prevent hardening.

Product Usage:

Any bakery product. Raisin Paste spreads easily and has natural product preserving and shelf-extending properties.

Pack Size Options:

Products are packaged in 4mil blue polyethylene liners defined by 21CFR and placed in 50# Bulk cases. The cases are sealed with glue and tape. Cases are stacked 45 to a pallet, identified with pallet cards, and then shrink wrapped. Other packaging configurations will be considered at the customer’s request.

Food Safety & Quality Conditions

All Del Rey Packing Company products are packed under strict food safety and quality control standards set forth in our HACCP/Quality Manual. Del Rey Packing Company is inspected daily by the USDA, tri-annually by the Dried Fruit Association and their GFSI-Certified auditors for food safety and sanitary compliance. USDA is on-premise at all times for all incoming and outgoing fruit inspections.

Del Rey Packing has been awarded GFSI-BRC certification achievement in food safety and quality.

This product is certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union-OU and Pareve for year-round use, including Passover.
