Del Rey Packing Company Golden Seedless Raisins Ingredient

Golden Raisins

Thompson Seedless Grapes are hand harvested, cleaned and mechanically dried. They are treated with sulfur dioxide (0.2-0.3%, 1500-3000 ppm) to preserve the golden color. Golden Raisins are prized for their rich flavor, sweetness and contrasting tartness, and their golden color which adds eye appeal to many products. Grading for goldens- Extra Fancy (USDA well colored) and Fancy (USDA reasonably well colored).

Product Usage:

In cereals, bakery products, and any application where raisins are used. Color is golden yellow to yellow-amber color.

Pack Size Options:

Products are packaged in 1.2 mil blue polyethylene liners defined by 21CFR and placed in 25# or 30# bulk cases. Cases are stacked 70 to a pallet, identified with pallet cards, and then shrink wrapped. Other packaging configurations will be considered at the customer’s request.

Food Safety & Quality Conditions

All Del Rey Packing Company products are packed under strict food safety and quality control standards set forth in our HACCP/Quality Manual. Del Rey Packing Company is inspected daily by the USDA, tri-annually by the Dried Fruit Association and their GFSI-Certified auditors for food safety and sanitary compliance. USDA is on-premise at all times for all incoming and outgoing fruit inspections.

Del Rey Packing has been awarded GFSI-BRC certification achievement in food safety and quality.

This product is certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union-OU and Pareve for year-round use, including Passover.
